Gary O'Brien, the owner/operator of the Eden Explorer and part of the O'Brien Charters Group, has been running deep sea fishing charters for well over twenty years, and he has clients that return to fish with him year after year.  He knows every reef off Bermagui and exactly when and where fishing is at its best.  Apart from deep sea reef fishing, Gary also enjoys taking his many clients out game fishing to get amongst the big ones - marlin, tuna and sharks.

 
Gary is extremely safety conscious and ensures that the Eden Explorer is kept in immaculate condition, both mechanically and in presentation and, naturally, it meets all safety standard laws.  The Eden Explorer experience welcomes the young and the old, and the experienced and less experienced. We are only too happy to share our knowledge of deep sea fishing with all those onboard. 
 

Where we are

The Eden Explorer is berthed at Bermagui on the south coast of New South Wales, Australia-  also known as the "Sapphire Coast".
  

We are located at the bottom left hand side of the Harbour.  Alongside is a Google map with a Yellow Google Pinpoint that will help you find find the Eden Explorer.  Simply look for the O'Brien Fishing Charters sign.

Bermagui is a five-hour drive south of Sydney, a nine-hour drive north of Melbourne, and a two and a half hour drive south east of Canberra.  Over half of Australia's population is within a day's drive of Bermagui.

There is a variety of accommodation from quaint, to comfortable, to four star.  Bermagui caters for all tastes and all budgets.
